Hello, Guest

 for full access

MNCAT Plus

Welcome to MNCAT Plus, the University Libraries' new discovery and delivery interface, where you can find print and electronic books and journals, audio and video materials, articles, and more.

We think you'll like these features:

Google-style searching. Simply type a search term or two and click GO. You can use an author name, a title, a subject, conference name, ISBN or ISSN, etc.
Relevant results. The items that best match your search terms will rise to the top of your results list.
Powerful filters. Start with a broad search and narrow your results with the links on the right-hand side of the screen.
Real-time availability information. See at a glance whether materials are available online or at one of our libraries.
Familiar functions. Features like Did You Mean? suggestions, and links to Google Books and WorldCat make it easier for you to find what you need. When a book cover image is available, it's displayed too.
Social networking features. Reviews and tagging allow you to make your own contributions to the experience of others.
Save and gather your citations. Push citations for materials you want to use or share to RefWorks or del.icio.us.
Integrated access and delivery. Search MNCAT Plus, then move directly to online versions of items or request delivery of physical items with the "GetIt" link.

Early reviews are positive, with users saying things like:
"It's extremely thorough. I can't imagine needing something more."
"It's like Google for MNCAT: limits everything without dumbing it down."
"Genius."

What are you searching when you use MNCAT Plus?

Books & More: Twin Cities (MNCAT Catalog)
Search here for print materials, videos, sound recordings, e-books, e-journals, databases, and indexes in Twin Cities campus libraries and special collections. Note that journals, magazines, databases, and indexes will be listed by title only, and individual articles will not be listed.

Articles
Search in our databases and indexes here, where you'll find journal, magazine, and newspaper articles and more. By default, you'll search across a broad range of general resources, but you can use a drop-down menu to specify a subject area to search. Note that these searches may take more than a few seconds to complete.
